RaceTrac's Commitment to Safety


To our loyal TracFanatics,

At RaceTrac, the safety of our guests and team members is our number one priority. As we continue to closely monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, we wanted to reach out and share the actions RaceTrac is taking to keep our stores safe and clean for you, our team members and the community.

Our mission is making people’s lives simpler and more enjoyable, and we are diligently working to ensure our locations remain a safe place for you to rely on. We are here for you with whatever gets you going, even in times of uncertainty.

RaceTrac holds itself to the highest food safety and cleanliness standards, and all of our more than 550 locations follow stringent hygiene and sanitation practices. Handwashing at our stores is conducted regularly using hot water and anti-bacterial soap. We also regularly and routinely sanitize all foodservice and guest contact points. Additionally, in response to COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions and have enhanced cleaning measures at all of our stores. As new information and guidance develops from the CDC, RaceTrac will adjust processes and procedures with a continued focus on the safety of our team members and guests while also remaining a safe and reliable place to shop in the communities we serve.

We are closely monitoring the health and wellbeing of our employees. Any team member exhibiting coronavirus symptoms has been instructed to stay home and encouraged to seek medical attention.

As a reminder, it is important for each of us to take our health and the safety of others seriously. Everyday preventative actions, like frequent handwashing, coughing or sneezing into your elbow, and staying at home when ill, can help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases like the coronavirus.
