We need your help to make Swipe Fee reform stick!

Thanks to the time that many of you took to contact your representatives in Congress last fall, Congress passed legislation that required the Federal Reserve to investigate and set reasonable limits for the amount payment card companies like VISA and MasterCard could charge retailers like RaceTrac as “interchange fees” (or “swipe fees”) for accepting debit cards.  RaceTrac took an active role in helping to pass that legislation because currently, unregulated swipe fees form a very large part of RaceTrac’s costs of doing business.

But now, the payment card companies, aided by banks large and small, are fighting to overturn the reforms won last fall.  We encourage you not to let that happen.  Join us in urging your Representatives and Senators to continue to stand firm in their support of swipe fee reform.

Write your Senators and Representatives TODAY and ask them to stand with consumers by opposing any delay of swipe fee reform.
