RaceTrac To Open New Store Design in Acworth
Cherokee St. store set to open on Jan. 5 is first of RaceTrac’s new prototype
ATLANTA, JAN. 5, 2012 – Today, RaceTrac is set to reveal exclusively to the Acworth community its biggest update to date – a brand new 6,000 sq. ft. store prototype. The new store, located at 5001 Cherokee St., will offer its neighbors RaceTrac’s signature service and products, including coffee brewed fresh 24/7 and more than 4,000 retail and grocery items.
RaceTrac will host a grand opening event on Saturday, January 21st at 3pm to celebrate this new store. The event will include many exciting giveaways including one Grand Prize of $2,500 in RaceTrac gift cards. Free frozen yogurt and free coffee for a year will also be among the giveaways.**
The new RaceTrac, which broke ground in June of 2011, is located in the heart of the Lake Allatoona community. The store includes several new features intended to make Acworth residents’ lives simpler and more enjoyable. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, for example, 10 Swirl World frozen yogurt flavors with 40+ toppings, a beer cave and free wireless internet.

The new store will employ at least 20 new associates who have been training for the past few weeks. Associates in these full and part-time positions will all receive competitive salaries and health benefits.
RaceTrac operates retail gasoline convenience stores in seven metro markets, including: Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Dallas, Miami, New Orleans, and Orlando.
