Dallas Business Journal recognizes RaceTrac as “Best Place to Work” for second year!

August 3, 2010- The Dallas Business Journal has released the list of 2010 honorees for their eighth annual Best Places to Work Awards Luncheon. Of the more than 400 companies that competed for the honor, RaceTrac Petroleum was named one of the top 25 large companies to work for in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the second year in a row.

“This is truly a tribute to the people that work at our stores on  a daily basis” said Carl Campbell, Operations Manager for the Dallas region of RaceTrac.  “Our associates and managers are the ones that make RaceTrac a great place for me to work. As we continue to grow in the Dallas Fort Worth area, there are no limits to our potential because of the dedication and hard work of our employees.”

The competing companies were evaluated by a comprehensive score of employee surveys which were administered by an independent research firm. The companies chosen as the Dallas Business Journal's Best Places to Work were those that received the top best-practice scores. The best-practice scores vary by company size and meet national industry standards.

In a year that has seen six new RaceTracs in the area, this designation is a testament to the hard-working associates and managers who are committed to making RaceTrac a great place to shop. With 81 RaceTrac stores in the Dallas area, and plans to grow even more over the next couple years, RaceTrac continues to seek the best talent available for each position to help better serve their customers.
