RaceTrac Teams with Orlando's Habitat for Humanity

Some of life's simple pleasures can be found in the art of giving back. On March 21, 2009, members of RaceTrac's East Florida Operations Team, volunteered to help Habitat for Humanity change the lives of four Orlando families. The team of 19 volunteers spent the day painting the interior of the Habitat homes along side the new homeowners.

"It was a great team building activity, but being able to share the time with the actual homeowners added to the overall experience", stated East Florida Marketing Manager Yomar Serrano.

To date, Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit ecumenical Christian housing ministry, has built more than 300,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1.5 million people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter.
