Where is RaceTrac located?
RaceTrac is conveniently located in Atlanta, GA, with easy access to fun restaurants, downtown shopping and plenty to explore! We’re ten minutes from Buckhead, twelve from Midtown, fifteen from Virginia-Highland, and right next to a major mall. You can explore the city and be back before your lunch hour ends!
What can I expect to do during my Internship?
RaceTrac wants you to take what you learned in the classroom and apply it here. RaceTrac Interns share some of the same job responsibilities as full-time employees. Some projects our previous interns have worked on include overhauling our travel expense reporting system, coming up with innovative marketing tactics, and hiring new talent into RaceTrac. If you’re planning on sleeping through your summer, this isn’t the position for you – but if you want to leave with a full understanding of the demands of your future career and the know-how to get it done, this is the place for you.
What will I get from the RaceTrac Internship program?
In a nutshell, you will get challenging work experience on ambitious projects exercising your skills in a great work environment. This Internship will give you the opportunity to interact with Vice Presidents, executives, and other outstanding students like yourself.
Does RaceTrac provide housing?
No, but our Intern Coordinator will provide you with a list of housing opportunities in Atlanta to help with your search. With Georgia Tech and Emory University offering summer housing opportunities so close to the Store Support Center, there are a significant number of places for discounted living and networking with other students.
Who is eligible?
Students enrolled in a full-time degree program at an accredited 4 year U.S. university are eligible to apply. Preference is given to candidates within 12 months of their graduation date.
Where are previous interns working now?
Our Internship program is designed to give students the maximum exposure to RaceTrac. Students who participate in the program have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and thus are on the fast track to success in the company. Previous Interns occupy positions in several areas of our company, from Marketing to Special Projects, and Real Estate to Information Systems.
Are there social events?
Yes! How many companies provide opportunities to go to a Braves game with the CEO like we do? Our executives like having fun just as much as you. Don’t be surprised to see them out to lunch with you, or at an evening celebration with the interns.
When and how can I apply?
